What a great day! Thanks to Gareth from Welsh Ice for asking us to take Turn Lights On to VENTUREFEST. So let me tell you how it went. We invited some of Wales finest entrepreneurs to see how they keep their lights on in their business. It was a 6 min talk with some questions from our lovely audience. It was so inspiring to hear from all different business owners. We picked entrepreneurs that were from different sectors and also in different stages of their business, from start up to multimillion turnovers.
The audience loved hearing the stories and also the speakers loved sharing their stories. VENTUREFEST was created to engage investors with entrepreneurs and it certainly did that! A few of the speakers had some very interesting conversations with investors which has really turned our lights on!
Georgina was hosting the event and she met such wonderful people. Here is a copy of an email that she received after the event its really TURNED HER LIGHTS ON!
Hi Georgina,
I just wanted to say how incredible I found your talking installation for entrepreneurs- it was exactly what I needed being a sole trader!!
I was very inspired by what you do and the use of your finely honed skills, coupled with your infectious positive and uplifting energy. You facilitated an engaging event that enabled the speakers to connect to the audiences heart, and be motivated to make breakthroughs themselves in what can be done! very powerful!
You certainly have a talent for making people feel good about themselves and unlocking the confidence within to turn on the lights- You are a star!
