Good morning!

Fancy a day of getting to know yourself? Understand yourself? Well today is that day.

We have thousands of thoughts every day and all these thoughts have an impact on our actions, what we say and how we feel. How effective are you at mastering your thoughts? Do you control your thoughts or do they control you? Let’s explore this together today. I will do the same and then write about it tomorrow.

So for today give this a go….

1. Observe your thoughts – When you think something and it doesn’t make you feel that wonderful think, “is this thought serving me? Is it taking me forward?” Notice I said observe, be an observer of your thoughts, don’t criticise or judge yourself for them as they are just thoughts. Just notice the impact that those thoughts have on you.

2. Is this thought TRUE? – Just because they are your thoughts that doesn’t mean they are correct! Are they an assumption? Are they just your truth?

3. How would I feel like if I didn’t have this thought? – Just because you have the thought doesn’t mean it has to stick around?

So there you go three things to think about today. Getting to know who you are is the best gift you can give to yourself and the people around you.

Let me know how you get on and have a wonderful day
